What is the Outer-Districts Team? 

Our Outer-Districts Team works to build community and explore Strong Towns principles in Albuquerque’s more suburban council districts (1, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9). Whether you’re passionate about making streets safer, improving housing options, or ensuring financial resiliency in our neighborhoods, this team focuses on how these ideas can be applied in areas where suburban growth has shaped the landscape.

We welcome members and friends from across the city to join us in fostering a stronger Albuquerque through thoughtful conversations, shared ideas, and local action. Together, we aim to bridge the gap between suburban and urban priorities, demonstrating how Strong Towns principles can create thriving, sustainable communities everywhere.
